Three Types of Reductionism — Richard Dawkins

Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of philosophical and scientific views of Richard Dawkins, whose research output is studied in the perspective of ontological, epistemological and methodological reductionism. Dawkins version of reductionism is additionally analyzed in the relation to biological, cultural and religious phenomenon. The main goal of the article is to show a comprehensive, hierarchical and ternary character of Dawkins reductionism.
