Philosophy of the Crisis of René Guénon
Abstract
The article discusses the main assumptions of the cultural philosophy of René Guénon. A representative of integraf traditionalism, called the traditionalist culture in this text. This french thinker proclaimed the need to return to the old, traditional orders. In his most import ant work — La Crise du Monde moderne — presented the philosophy of the Crisis. He saw the beginning of the decay of Western culture in the Greek, ancient model of knowledge and after that in the Renaissance. Symptoms of the Crisis were: industry, uniformization, mass, ratonalism, individualism and secularization.
