Herstory: from History to Literature

Abstract


The aim of the article is to present status of the women history. Throughout history, women were usually barely visible in the public space. It should be noted that it was she, and not the private sphere, for a long time was considered worthy of interest and consolidate the relationship history. Women are not left behind also direct evidence, because their writings accompanied atmosphere insignificance. The more evident the innovative movement of rewriting history from the perspective of women (herstory). Cited were the views of Michelle Perrot that women are imagined, created, and rarely described and portrayed directly. The essay shows that we should ask about the consequences of the cultural meaning of gender in history.
