Abstrakt

Gombrowicz—the writer, but simultaneously, the philosopher and culture theoretician. As an author I read his works once again with full consciousness. Fourty four years after his death he takes the floor in his own cause. It is hard not to notice that Kronos is either the last Gombrowicz’s performance or his last truthful work. It is undoubtedly written in a different style and ordinary language without any artistic efforts. This is another way to break the form and fight for the truth. Gombrowicz, dealing with the man’s functioning in culture, breaks all forms with his works. Today, however, he breaks the form of his works with his life. Next time he is closer to the truth, the truth which is the form. Let us add that every form is artificial, not true, completed by others. Nevertheless, Gombrowicz constantly fights…
