Abstract


Article describes a problem of new model of textbook for teaching history at school, both its historical texts and didactic exercises, for which meeting it is appointed. The need for a new textbook model appeared as a result of challenges put for school
history both from education reform and modern reception of the past which takes place in (a) public space.
Complicated methodological consequences coming from the change of textbook model, which meets various expectations, are presented in the article.
