Filozofia społeczna — osiągnięcia teoretyczno-poznawcze — zastosowania praktyczne

WÅ‚odzimierz Kaczocha

Abstrakt

The main purpose of this article is to present some basic ideas of selected scholars representing the field of social philosophy in the second half of the XXth century (M. Horkheimer, K.R. Popper, J. Habermas, J. Rawls, L. Nowak and Polish neo- Thomists). The three possible developments of social philosophy are then discussed: (1) theorio-cognitive — resulting in theories explaining contemporary social processes; (2) axiological — providing with projects exposing values of a major importance for social life (common good, justice); (3) practical — offering some political-ethical programmes. Finally, the author proposes a project of investigating social philosophy as interdisciplinary philosophy.
