Wskrzeszenie państwa polskiego a równouprawnienie kobiet w nauce

Abstrakt

The author posed the question of whether the revived Polish state created, for its citizens and especially for women, such development conditions that would allow equating the scientific status of both sexes. The article cites numerical data showing the number of women and men studying in the Second Polish Republic; proportions between the sexes at different universities; and the fields of study. It was also considered how these figures related to obtaining academic titles and university positions.
These issues have been shown after taking into account the economic background, the legal and scientific policy of the Polish state, etc. Reference has also been made to specific examples of scientific career pursued by women in both humanities and exact sciences.
