Tradycja i postęp w historiozofii polskiego mesjanizmu. Filozoficzne uwagi na marginesie prelekcji paryskich Adama Mickiewicza

Abstrakt

The paper is an attempt to accommodate the historiosophy of Polish Romantic Messianism in the problematic context of contemporary traditionalism. The goal is pursued on the basis of philosophical commentaries to the text of extensive and multifaceted Lectures on Slavic Literature delivered by Adam Mickiewicz at the Collège de France in Paris in 1840–1844. The notes on Parisian lectures mentioned in the title of the paper are used as a theoretical starting point for a wider discussion about the role and meaning of the concepts of tradition and progress in Messianic ideology.
