Rozmowy o rzeczach ważnych. Proces militaryzacji dzieciństwa w rosyjskim systemie edukacyjnym w latach 2022–2024
Abstrakt
The article examines the process of the militarization of childhood in the Russian Federation in the light of legal and educational changes implemented between 2022 and 2024. The primary aim is to illustrate how the Russian state, through its education system and legislation, normalizes a military approach to citizenship and promotes militaristic and patriotic attitudes among children and youth. Based on an analysis of new regulations and school programs, such as “Conversations on Important Matters” and “Foundations of Security and Defense of the Fatherland,” the article traces the growing militaristic trends within the Russian educational system. Utilizing a feminist security studies perspective, it demonstrates how militarization shapes children's daily lives and identities, fostering an attachment to the state and its defense policies.
